Overview
Independent technical advisory experience supporting onshore and offshore wind projects throughout construction, commissioning and operation. The work combines field-based engineering experience with technical review and project assessment to provide clear, practical and technically grounded advice.
Scope of Experience
Experience covers technical review and monitoring across the wind project lifecycle, including construction, commissioning, takeover and operational phases. Activities include assessment of project progress, technical documentation, site conditions, WTG and Balance of Plant interfaces, performance and project-related technical risks.
Key Activities
- Technical project reviews and assessments,
- Construction, commissioning and operational monitoring,
- WTG and Balance of Plant technical review,
- Site inspections and project progress verification,
- Technical verification supporting escrow releases and project milestone payments,
- Technical documentation and performance assessment,
- Defect, outstanding-work and corrective-action review,
- Technical reporting and support for project decision-making.
Technical Focus
The advisory approach combines engineering review with practical field experience across wind turbine construction and operation. Particular focus is placed on issues that may affect project completion, asset condition, operational performance, schedule and long-term reliability.
Role
Experience includes Technical Advisory and Lenders’ Technical Advisory (LTA) assignments for wind energy projects, providing independent technical input through document review, site-based assessment, construction monitoring and operational evaluation. The objective is to translate technical findings into clear conclusions and practical recommendations for owners, lenders and project stakeholders.
